Not Detailed Enough  |
Having used the Microsoft training kits for both the Professional and Server exams I was expecting great things from this book. I therefore used it as my base reference for taking the exam.Disappointingly, if used alone it would take a miracle to pass the exam but if used in conjunction with real world experience and additional reading from the resource kit, it should just about do the trick. I passed with it but then I have been using NT for the past nine years, so I may not be that representative!

Totally agree with the first two reviews. This book is not in itself sufficiently detailed as to allows you to pass the 70-216 exam. A very disappointing book which covers all of the basic concepts, but does not expand on them in any of the depth that will be required.

Not only does this book contain errors...  |

Not only does this book contain errors but also it lacks substantial detail. The exam (and I have passed it) covers details not contained in the book at all. Do not use this book as your main preparation. Good layout and chapter headings are no substitute for accuracy, detail and depth. As exam prep it is inadequate. I passed the exam thanks to 5yrs of hands on IT not this product. Having used self-study guides in the past, I can say that Microsoft and MSPress have let me down with this product. Missed opportunity...
